What to Include in a Security Quote Request
Planning guide · Day Night Security ·
A clear security enquiry helps the conversation focus on the work your site needs. You do not need a finished security plan. Start with the location, dates, hours and tasks, then mark the points you need help deciding.
Your enquiry at a glance
- Site address or city and property type
- Start date, end date if known, and hours for each day
- Areas to cover and the duties needed
- Continuous guard presence, patrol visits, or advice on the choice
- A contact name, phone number and email
Use these points in the message field. Leave out passwords, alarm codes and personal records.
Open the quote form1. Describe the property and location
Give the address or city and the type of site. A construction project, condo, warehouse, office and event venue each have different patterns of access. Note the general areas that need attention, such as a lobby, gate, parkade or storage yard. If the address is not yet fixed, say so. The team needs to discuss coverage for the actual location before it can be confirmed.
2. Set out the dates and hours
Include the preferred start date and the hours needed each day. Mention weekends, holidays and any days that differ from the normal schedule. For an event, state the event date as well as the period when guards are required. If you are unsure how long coverage is needed, describe the situation. Keep the difference between a target date and a confirmed booking clear.
3. List the duties you want to discuss
Use plain descriptions of the work. You might need a person at a gate, a guard in a lobby, checks of doors through the night or support at event entry points. Say if you need continuous presence during a shift or visits at intervals. If you are unsure which service fits, select the option that says you are not sure and explain the tasks in the message.
4. Add context without private details
Give a short account of the concern: for example, an unattended yard after closing or extra visitors on a busy date. Avoid names of residents, guest lists, identity documents, passwords and alarm or gate codes. The first enquiry should describe the need, not provide access to the property. Put the person who can discuss the requirements in the contact fields.
5. Review the request and confirm the next step
Check the phone number and email so the team can reach you. Review the site location, dates and hours before sending. For Day Night Security, the online form is an enquiry rather than a reservation. Coverage is confirmed after a conversation about requirements and availability. Our team serves Surrey and the Lower Mainland from Surrey. For urgent requirements, call the 24-hour dispatch line on 604-512-9007. Keep a copy of the agreed duties once the arrangement is confirmed.
